National Mentoring Day is the largest global celebration of mentoring -taking place on the 27thOctober each year. We are a non-profit organisation created to educate, connect, support, and celebrate mentors and mentoring initiatives across the world, giving them the recognition, they deserve.
As the voice of mentoring, we raise public awareness throughout the year, of mentoring in all its forms, to inspire current and future generations to fully adopt and embrace mentoring. Our mission is to make mentoring accessible to everyone.
Working together through collaboration and connectionis critical to support all sectors of business, charities, non-profits, education, and society. This means unprecedented levels of mentoring are urgently needed.
National Mentoring Day plays a key role in giving prominence to mentoring initiatives and a national voice to amplifytheir important and inspiring mentoring stories and services.
National Mentoring Day was inaugurated as an official National Day at the Houses of Parliament in London, England. The day is now celebrated and recognised by millions of people, businesses, and charities across the world, receiving government, industry and celebrity endorsements and attracting widespread media coverage.
